Dr. Fate (Doctor Fate) is Kent Nelson, sorcerer of Order. A longtime ally of Superman, he eventually crosses paths with the league, sometimes as friend and other times as a misunderstood foe. Eventually he joins the Justice League and becomes one of its most powerful mystics.
