Etrigan is a large figure compared to the others in the line. The often problematic primary color scheme on Etrigan is brilliantly executed with muted yellows and a darker, washed-over red. The sculpt itself is a terrifying likeness adaptation of the comic character and was masterfully rendered by the Four Horsemen. The hands are in a nearly open pose and is perfect for palm-up or ‘boo’ action poses. It has been stated by Mattel that a variant o this figure with blackened lips and altered eyes (Kirbyesque) was in the running for a release but was shelved. It is unknown if we’ll see this in future releases.

For discriminating Mint-On-Card collectors, please note that there are also two packaging variants of ALL DCUC wave one figures, one that lists the Batman figure on the back of the card as ‘Crime Solver Batman’ and another that lists it as ‘Classic Detective Batman’.
